Newcomer Sam Walwyn has dropped ‘That Song’, a tender cut designed to demonstrate that a breakup can be immortalised in music. It “encapsulates what it’s like to have a certain song associated with a relationship. Everyone has a song that they pair with a certain time in their life, relationship or friendship.” It’s a tender, melodic track that blends influences from rock, indie and country with massively memorable pop hooks, and rhythms inspired by his eclectic upbringing between Jersey and the Caribbean.
